From Wishgarden Herbs, this tincture is designed for the woman who is not progressing or not going into labor because she lacks sufficient energy. Where the cervix has been slow to dilate and efface as a result of lethargy or fatigue, this tincture can be an effective aid. A stimulating blend of oxytocic emmenagogues. Most effective around 3-4cm dilation. Contraindicated for use in transition or second stage labor.
Ingredients: Blue cohosh root, bethroot, ginger root, and a small amount of gelsemium root in approximately 50% grain alcohol and spring water. Due to gelsemium's potential toxicity, this formula is recommended for practitioner use only. |
