CHOLESTEROL CUTTING TEA

There is an ever growing phenomenon of people testing high with cholesterol issues. In conjunction with this; however, more and more people are having terrible side effects from the high powered and unfriendly drugs they are being placed on to somehow fix this problem. As with most all health related conditions, there are natural ways to maintain a proper balance of positive and negative cholesterol. The first and most important way is through diet. Eating good, nutritious, healthy foods such as lean proteins (baked, grilled, boiled, or broiled and not fried), plenty of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, and a good selection of whole grains is the number one way to eliminate soaring cholesterol levels that could possible endanger the heart and circulatory system. Eliminating processed foods and store bought pre-packed items, sugar, white flour, and other “quick fix” menu items is another super help.

We have decided to create a healthy tea that will work against the effects of negative cholesterol within the system, while not harming the positive cholesterol that your body needs to function properly. We also feel that doing things naturally, is always more beneficial and will eliminate the life altering, life threatening side effects being seen so often from the so-called “cholesterol cutting” drugs of our day. We hope you will try our Cholesterol Cutting Tea and enjoy the benefits it allows to your circulatory system, heart, and other body organs. Our special blend includes the perfect proportions of the following herbs:

  • Red Clover: It is believed that red clover may help to prevent heart disease in several ways. Some studies show that taking red clover may lower the levels of “nagative” low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and raise the levels of “positive” high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the body. In addition, red clover may also promote an increase in the secretion of bile acid. Because cholesterol is a major component of bile acid, increased bile acid production usually means that more cholesterol is used and less cholesterol circulates in the body. Additionally, red clover contains small amounts of chemicals known as coumarins, which may help keep the blood from becoming thick and gummy. Therefore, the possibility of forming blood clots and arterial plaques may be reduced. Red clover may also help the arteries remain strong and flexible (a quality often called “arterial compliance”), which may also help to prevent some of the plaque deposits that may lead to a heart attack or a stroke.
  • Alfalfa: Alfalfa is commonly used to alkalize and detoxify the body. It helps ease inflammation, balance hormones, and lower LDL cholesterol. It has been used as a diuretic and to treat anemia and ulcers. (Note: People with systemic lupus or taking blood thinning medications should notify their doctor before taking a supplement with alfalfa because of its high vitamin K properties)
  • Dandelion Root: Dandelion is a rich source of vitamins A, B complex, C, and D, as well as minerals such as iron, potassium, and zinc. Some studies suggest that dandelion may help normalize blood sugar levels and improve lipid profiles (namely, lower total cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL ["positive"] cholesterol).
  • Fenugreek Seed: Studies have shown a beneficial effect of fenugreek in reducing blood glucose levels and improving glucose tolerance in patients with diabetes. In terms of weight control, the soluble fiber in fenugreek seeds can reduce dietary fat absorption by binding to fatty acids as well as create a sensation of "fullness" and reduced appetite. Finally, because fenugreek seeds contain estrogen-like saponins, blood levels of total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides can be reduced (with no change in HDL) – providing an important heart benefit.
  • Burdock Root: Frequently used to help lower cholesterol levels and decrease high blood pressure. It is one of the foremost cleansing herbs, providing nourishing support for the blood, the liver, and the natural defense system. It's rich in Vitamins B-1, B-6, B-12, and E, plus manganese, copper, iron, zinc, sulfur, and more.
  • Hawthorne Berries: Most traditionally used to help the heart. T hese berries are considered a strong heart tonic, with the ability to stabilize cholesterol counts as well as blood pressure, by raising low pressure and reducing high pressure, and is therefore an herb of choice for hypertension as well as hypotension.  They have also proven effective, for generations, centuries even, in regulating rapid or arrhythmic heart beat,  inflammation of the heart muscle, angina, arteriosclerosis, and disease or degeneration of the heart valves and blood vessels.  Because it strengthens the heart and the ability of the heart to process the blood flow, it improves the condition of the vessels through which the blood flows and the general circulation in the body, which means, it also has great benefit to reducing LDL cholesterol.  Therefore, although heart problems can occur at any age, Hawthorn is one of the first herbs considered when the conditions relate to aging and the heart problems that frequently accompany aging.
Drink one to two cups daily in conjunction with a healthy, well-balanced diet for better circulation, heart function; and overall health.

Packaged in 8 ounce or 1lb. bags.
