I have used these for years and they work GREAT! The velcro helps to keep the wrap secure. You can easily open and close the strap to re-adjust or move to and from hand or foot. They are light weight and easy to pack in a bag to go. Cost is low too! Therefore, I highly recommend.

These are soft and don't stick to the skin which is perfect for newborns.  However, to use this on a large baby (I'd say over 4000g) you have to put it on a toe.  It just doesn't work well on hand or foot.  The holes on this wrap are closer together than the holes on the adhesive wraps -- one set slightly closer, the other two much closer (for use on fingers and toes)
