Sadly the protein and glucose reagents are adjacent and the blue color from the glucose bleeds into the yellow protein reagent, causing a lot of false positive (green) protein readings if you're not meticulous about tapping off excess sample (pee). We have our ladies read their own dipsticks and this is just a little too fussy to be able to rely on when the result we're most worried about is protein for preeclampsia.
