I bought a couple of these for my birth center and really like them.  Because it is wood, you can add a drop of peppermint essential oil on the fan to use when nausea hits.  Could also use other labor supportive oils.  These also work great for my hot flashes!  lol.

These foldable fans are so great for birth kits!!  Anyone can grab it and easily fan the mom while she is in labor when dealing with temperature fluctuations. They are inexpensive, mobile, and provide really great air flow. They are also made well enough to outlast the birth. I definitely recommend adding these to your home birth kits/supplies.
