The Bakri Postpartum Balloon with Rapid Instillation Components is an effective way to treat postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) after a cesarean section or vaginal delivery when conservative management of uterine bleeding is warranted.

When inflated with sterile liquid, the Bakri Postpartum Balloon with Rapid Instillation Components conforms to the shape of the uterus and may provide immediate management of postpartum hemorrhage.
Silicone construction eliminates issue of patient sensitivity to latex
Controls bleeding simply
Drainage lumen allows blood loss monitoring
Rapid instillation component enables timely instillation of saline into balloon
The incorporation of a rapid instillation component with the Bakri Postpartum Balloon enables timely instillation of saline into the balloon when conservative management of uterine bleeding is warranted.
