The BD Saf-T-Intima is a unique closed and covered safety catheter system, bringing you the highest level of protection against accidental needlestick injuries. After use, the needle automatically retracts and is covered by a safety chamber. The Saf-T-Intima catheter is made of BD Vialon™ biomaterial which has been proven to be easier to insert and to cause less inflammation. BD Vialon™ will even reduce the overall cost of IV therapy because it increases the indwelling time of the catheter.

The versatile BD Saf-T-Intima catheter system includes extension tubing and an integral extension set with a PRN adaptor. The BD Saf-T-Intima catheter system is latex-free. 20 G x 1.0 in.
