Calendula oil is one of the most popular herbal infusions. Gentle and soothing, it makes an excellent base for salves and facial creams. It can also be incorporated into your favorite body care recipes for sensitive skin, body oils to soften the skin after working in the garden, and lip balm formulas. External use only.

How It’s Made
Mountain Rose Herbs has changed their recipe! They are committed to evolving with the latest information and practices while also honoring tradition. This is why they have revamped their entire herbal oil line to produce a more potent topical oil. They now use an alcohol intermediary technique where alcohol is added to the herbs before the oil infusion step to extract more of the beneficial properties. You will notice that the ingredient list on their herbal oils now include alcohol and water. The water is a natural part of the alcohol solution and does not affect the shelf-life of their new oils. We hope you enjoy these stronger, more colorful herbal oils!

Organic olive oil, organic calendula flowers, organic alcohol (organic alcohol, water), and vitamin E oil.
